This summer has been a very exciting, crazy summer. In May we found out that we are expecting our second child due Feb 4, 2010. In 3 weeks we will find out what we are having and tell the world! Traea is very excited to be a Big Sister. She is so sweet and gentle with our animals we know she is going to do great! We bought a big sister shirt (as seen on the right) in order to tell people. With Chris's family she just put it on and walked around till someone noticed. With Justine's family we sent a picture of her wearing it and waited for the phone call.
We went to Silver Creek Plunge for Father's Day weekend with Chris's family. We had a blast. They have a wonderful hot spring pool at the camp grounds but since Justine was pregnant she wasn't allowed to join in on the fun. It was a weekend full of fishing, hiking and enjoying the camp fire. We also brought Hermes with us. He loves the great outdoors!
We just returned home from our trip to the Oregon Coast. We stayed in Waldport, OR for a week and enjoyed relaxing and just be stress-free. Chris and his dad, Jim, went deep sea fishing and caught 4 big Sea bass and also 4 crabs. Crab fresh only an hour out of the ocean is amazing!! It was too cold to go swimming but we still took advantage of walking on the beach and building sandcastles. Traea loved the ocean and would get mad every time we had to leave for the day.
