WOW long time no update.
We have had a very busy last couple of months. We went to Helena, MT to visit Justine's family for Halloween. It was a lot of fun having Traea go Trick or Treating with her cousins, Gidian and Skyler. She was adorable as she said "Trick or Treat" and held out her Elmo Halloween bucket. We only went down one street but it was still tons of fun. Since Justine is now in her third trimester of pregnancy we decided that our Halloween trip was our last trip out of town for a while. Thanksgiving we went over to Chris's parents house for the big feast. His sister and her boyfriend were out of town but we were still able to enjoy ourselves and make way too much food for five people. We are only 6 weeks away from meeting our son, Shay, and even closer to Christmas. We will be going to Chris's parent's house for Christmas and then seeing Chris's Grandparent's as well. Should be kind of busy but very fun. Astraea and Shay are both doing great. Astraea is enjoying all the Christmas activities and learning more and more every day. We are also very excited because we are going to be Godparents. Our godchild is due June 7, 2010. The parents are not finding out the gender so we have to wait till June to find out what they are having. This time of year especially reminds us of all the wonderful things that we have to be thankful for and are extremely blessed with wonderful family and friends. We are hoping that the new year brings us as much happiness as this year has.

We have a name!!
We have finally decided on a name for our baby boy!! It is Shamus William. Justine loves the name Shamus and Chris loves the name Shay so we thought it was pretty lucky that he can be both!! When we picked Traea's name out it was kind of the same way. Chris found the name Traeh and Justine found the name Astraea (which means the same thing as Justine) so it just worked out perfectly! Traea is so cute and says Shay-shay already. We just know she is going to be a great big sister! We decided on William without a lot of thought. Justine's brother's, great uncle's, and great grandfather's middle name was William and Chris's dad's and great Grandfather's middle name was William. Actually Justine's Great Grandfather's middle name was Wilhelm but pretty darn close to the same thing. This pregnancy is going pretty good. Shay is kicking all the time. Overall this pregnancy feels better than Traea's. With Traea, Justine had constant heartburn and Traea hated car rides and liked to remind Justine all the time just how much by kicking her until it hurt. No heartburn so far and the only time Shay kicks like crazy is while we are playing Rockband especially Beatles Rock Band, he loves his music already!

It's a....
On September 18 we went in for our 20 week ultrasound. We are proud to announce that we are having a BOY!!! We are very excited. Already this little boy is completely different than his big sister. At Traea's 20 week ultrasound she was already head down, showed us her gender and her arms and legs with no problem. With our son, he is laying down horizontally and for most of his ultrasound he had his face buried. Once he started moving we couldn't get him to hold still for good pictures. We know that one hand has 5 fingers but he is a stinker and won't let us check out the rest. As far as names go, we have talked about a few we really like but haven't made any decisions. Our favorite name so far Traea can say so cutely. If she is willing to blab then you can ask her and find out the name but until we make a final decision Justine will keep her mouth shut! Ultrasound pictures will be posted as soon as we scan them :D

Summer 09
We went to Silver Creek Plunge for Father's Day weekend with Chris's family. We had a blast. They have a wonderful hot spring pool at the camp grounds but since Justine was pregnant she wasn't allowed to join in on the fun. It was a weekend full of fishing, hiking and enjoying the camp fire. We also brought Hermes with us. He loves the great outdoors!
We just returned home from our trip to the Oregon Coast. We stayed in Waldport, OR for a week and enjoyed relaxing and just be stress-free. Chris and his dad, Jim, went deep sea fishing and caught 4 big Sea bass and also 4 crabs. Crab fresh only an hour out of the ocean is amazing!! It was too cold to go swimming but we still took advantage of walking on the beach and building sandcastles. Traea loved the ocean and would get mad every time we had to leave for the day.
Traea walking on the beach during low tide with Grandma Sue, her Dad and Hermes. It was a little chilly so sweatshirts were needed.
Chris, Justine and Traea outside of the Sea Lion Caves. In the distance there is a lighthouse hiding in the fog.

New Addition to Our Family
WE GOT KITTENS!!!
We have a bit of a mice problem in our home (yuck!!) and traps don't seem to be doing the trick. Last Winter we discovered there were mice getting into our car and we don't want that to happen again. After Justine has a few nightmares about mice attacking us we discussed the possibility of getting cats. Last year we had cats and still got a few mice but not this bad. After telling Chris's dad and sister we were thinking about getting cats, they called 30 minutes later and asked if we wanted two 5week old kittens. Justine was so excited she said "YES"!
We named them Indie and Hurley. Indie, we thought, was the adventurous one and always wanting to explore. Hurley, we thought, just likes to sleep and cuddle. Turns out Indie still likes to explore but he is also the most cuddly one. He always wants to be held. Hurley still loves to sleep but he wants to sleep a foot away from you. He is still a very sweet cat but likes sleeping by himself. We have had them about 2 1/2 weeks so far and we love them.
Traea loves to cuddle with them and Hermes loves them as well. Sometimes Hermes gets a little excited and licks them to much and considering his tongue is as big as their heads it makes us kind of nervous.
Hurley is on the left and Indie on the right.

Busy Busy Busy!
We have had a very busy last few months. In March we celebrated Justine's 24th birthday and then the very next day Traea turned 1. We can not believe how much she has grown up and how much she has learned in just one year! Traea just learned the word please. She says it so cute and we are so proud of her. She tries to share everything and pretty much always has a smile on her face.
Work has been very busy for Chris lately. He has worked most weekend and some late nights. We were able to get away to Sun Valley with Kate and Craig for a few days of relaxing and adult beverages. Justine has been busy getting vendors organized for Eagle Island Experienced which is looking like it will be a huge success. Hermes is still growing, growing, growing! He is starting to settle down some, which we love. He is getting so good with Traea. The only time there is ever a problem is when he runs by her too fast and knocks her over. She is tough and it never phases her.
Chris's sister Erica and her boyfriend Doug just moved back to Boise. We are very excited to have them so close though we will miss visiting them in Oregon. Erica is a vegetarian and Justine has never been around one very often so it will be a fun learning experience.
Next weekend is Easter and we are going to visit Justine's family in Montana. We are excited for Traea to have a proper Easter. Last year Easter was spent in the hospital while Justine recovered from an infection caused from her c-section.
We will try to update this more than we have been.

Meet The Teeters
The Teeters'

HI! We have a great family that includes Chris, Justine, Astraea and Hermes.
Chris is currently working as a Graphic Designer. It is a great job to have because he is able to work from home and see Astraea grow every day.
Justine is a stay-at-home mom who is also working part-time for Gruntwerks Production as the Vendor Coordinator. I love being able to be home. I love being a mom as well, it helps that my daughter is the greatest little person in the world.

Astraea (aka Traea) is 11 months old. She will be one on St. Patrick's Day. We can't believe it has already been a year since she was born. She has grown so much in that time. She can walk pretty well, her record is 30 steps! She can say Daddy, Hi, Cat and Yay! We are so in love!

Last but not least, Hermes! Hermes is a 7 months old boxer/bull dog mix. He is a sweet dog, but he gets into everything. I don't know who gets into more stuff him or Traea. I am willing to bet Traea though.
